Another case where the narrative tells one story, the photos show another. In case anyone missed it, the headline in the posted article said, "UFO caught on camera hovering over Air Force 1 at LAX...." Yet, none of photos published even showed AF1, with or without UFO.

We'll give the guys the benefit of the doubt, let's accept the F-35s and the KC-10 were involved in a Combat Air Patrol protect/support mission for AF1 as it flew into Los Angeles.

The first thing comes to mind is it's odd neither the fighters nor the tanker reacted to the "object" as it flew over and eventual in front of them. Considering the fighters' sole purpose in being out there was to protect AF1 in restricted airspace, you'd think they'd have declared an emergency breakaway from the tanker. While the tanker beat feet out of the area, the fighters would have aggressively closed on, and prepared to fire missiles at, whatever it was. Oh, and AF1 would have immediately changed course to a pre-specified divert base with the cavalry on the way. But no, it landed at LAX.

Duke, that was very interesting to read. I never imagined all that happens to protect AF1. I learned something. Thank you.

Duke, I just love you being here keeping us nervous Nellys grounded in reality. Thank you for this. I am a bit reactive and sometimes don't see the details.
