If you went to a school that had ceiling tiles you would toss your pencils up and make them stick in the ceiling.Good fun. So one day in Biology class we had to dissect a frog or a guinea pig. This guy who was my lab partner tossed three scalpels up into the ceiling.:)
He went on to become an Indiana State Trooper:eek:.

We never had that but some of us would rip out a page from a jotter and chew it to a pulp and launch it to the ceiling where it would stick.

    Years later still there :)

We threw pencils and wet paper and anything else into the ceiling at school. There was an area of the ceiling in the boy's toilets that was just a giant mass, like a stalactite of stuff hanging down and random pencils and pens were a given!

You reminded me of a toy gun I got for Christmas when I was about four. It was a ping pong ball gun, with a magazine that could hold about six shots, but it was WAAAAAAAYYYY overpowered! The spring was horrifying. At first I was physically unable to load it because of the tension and had to get my dad to do it, and my parents were clearly alarmed because it blasted ping-pong balls for about twenty feet at high velocity! Luckily, they were only ping-pong balls, but they could still knock over ornaments and cause destruction.
I (years) later realised that since it was just a wide barrel with a supercharged spring that I could put anything into the chamber and fire it... and it was a serious menace. Luckily for all, it was so powerful that the force of the shots eventually shattered the plastic casing, so it self destructed. It was that bad!
They do not make them like that anymore.

The cleaners were either too scared to look up, or too distracted by the other horrors in there. It was a toilet for teenage boys! It was horrifying! I think they just cleared up health hazards and ran.

I think in Australia they try to stick pencils in the floor. We should ask Oz.
