I petted a kangaroo.
At the next County Fair I'm working up my courage to pet the camel. Now when I was a little boy Mama done told me, don't pet the camel.

Can you believe we're almost halfway through 2018? It's going a bit too fast for me! So, tell me this:

WHAT IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU SO FAR THIS YEAR?

I can’t think of a single best thing but there are a lot of things I’m grateful for. Some examples that come to mind are:
- I got to take my kids to meet their great grandparents
- got to meet some relatives one last time before they passed
- got to spend extra time with my family, especially my kids by taking parental leave

I’m sure I could come up with more but that would take some more reminiscing.

I bought a new sand wedge. Me and the old one didn't get along. The new one was not getting along with me. So I pulled out something I played with from 20 years ago. Worn out, beaten and battered. Took her for a spin. We still like each other..
So the moral of the story goes, don't go chasing the bicycle with the shiny fenders. That also kind of works with me and women.
