Those Sequels

Some movies get quite the fan base and many then follow up with sequels.
Some of these are great! Many of them can never live up to the original.
If you could order up a sequel to a favorite movie, what would it be?
What sequels have you seen that "work", and which others should have never been made?

Back To The Future and Goonies! I could probably think of a few more. Most sequels don't work or are okay,but not better than the 1st movie.
The sequel that angers me the most! The 1 I waited 12yrs for and woke up early to go see at the theater for the 1st showing opening day!!!
Super Troopers 2! It was a huge let down! I was and still am angry about that one!

Mad Max 2 known as The Road Warrior in the US was a good sequel. The third one not so good imo and Fury road wasn't even Mad Max, a real disappointment.

Yeah, but I didn't care as much for that one as either of the first two.

All of the Naked Gun movies were fantastic.
Blues Brothers 2 and Caddyshake 2, not so much.
And I thought all of the Rocky movies were good in their own way.

I liked all of the 'Lethal weapon movies, but sequels to the first 'Die Hard' were abysmal.

I think that 'Dr. Sleep' was a good sequel to 'The Shining.'

I agree, i liked Doctor Sleep though most hated it because it was shown as a sequel to Kubrick's version of King's books. The day they remade The Fog i said i would be 100% done with movies. Well, they did lol. I keep hearing about a remake of Big Trouble in Little China. For the love of everything holy and beautiful, leave that movie alone please.
