SOME MOVIES DO WELL WITH SEQUELS, SUCH AS THE LATEST "TOP GUN" MOVIE.
OTHERS NOT SO MUCH.

I quit after the 4th Star Wars movie.
I got to look up a name of a cowboy movie and it's sort of recent. In a lot of ways it was a remake of The Good The Bad and The Ugly. In a very subtle way until the end.

"The Exorcist" and "Jaws" both had a series of terrible sequels.

The original "Planet of the Apes" film of 1968 had a string of sequels, each one sillier than the one before.

This is driving me nuts I can't find that western movie. And I think I know where I wrote it down because I keep my notebooks.

Who was in it and how far back are we talking?
