Oh Lynne, you definitely missed some late 80’s fun. I watched an episode of this show this morning.

So yes, you are right that the theme song is positive, but you need to know the premise of the show too. The hero is a high school teacher who encounters extraterrestrials. He is gifted a suit which gives him super powers but he loses the related instruction manual at the same time. So he is left to try to figure the suit out mostly alone.
