When I was 7/8 this was a favorite show of mine. Vic Morrow was my favorite character in the show. Later when I saw him do other movies or shows, I said to myself, " wait ! he can't do other stuff."

The series "Brett Maverick" lasted only one year in the early 80s, but it was a great show with a great theme song. Both James Garner and series co-star Ed Bruce sing the theme.

Maybe because Jim Garner couldn't do a 'Rockford slide' on a horse the way he did in his Firebird.

Ohhh, these are all good. And some great memories are going with these! But....I'm still suffering from THAT song. Ugh. Keep it up with the alternatives....something else has got to overcome it at some point.
