Between here and there...

I recently saw a very old car drive by and I had some of my famous "Back in the Day" thoughts.
What's the oldest car you've ever driven?

If you could have any classic car, what car would it be?
What's your favorite "dream car" now?

And yes, I can drive a 3 on the tree like a pro!

Ive had some late 70s trucks and some 80s model trucks,4runners,and land cruisers.

Old car wise. I fully restored Forrest green with the wood panels jeep Wagoner with some upgrades.
Next would be some old caddie or something, convertible, white leather interior, all chrome replaced with gold, candy apple green paint with gold flakes, awsome sound system, and hydraulics!
I will get them both!

Surely you have driven something before 2000? ;)
Oh, I thought you meant the oldest car you owned and routinely drove. The oldest vehicle I ever drove was probably an early 60s VW bug, it was my best friend's car in college. I also got to drive a classic LandRover, probably from the mid/late 50s in the UK, but only a hundred yards or so.

just thought of something crazy.....lol..... i owned the 65 scout in 1985 so it was 20 years old at the time...which seemed old to me then,..... but right now i own a 2002 ford pickup.... in comparison, it is actually older than the scout was at the time i owned it.....lol..... dang time plays tricks on ya, ,,,:D

I drove a Model A on an Uncle's farm, oh, maybe 20 years ago. I don't recall the model year. In high school I drove a 53' Chevy and a few other 50's cars. I only drove one column shift car, a Ford Falcon ( early 60's vintage). Once you get the clutch coordination and shift pattern down, shifting column or floor is almost automatic.
