The headlines on Drudge this morning were "New Covid Wave Warning". Day late for my Peoria family. In case you are one of those who thinks this is over, think again.
My son, his wife, and my T1D grandson all came down with it Tuesday and Weds. after attending a super spreader event on Saturday. All of them are extremely ill with it, and we're waiting to see if Granddaughter also gets it and if DIL's 79 yr. old mom does as well. *Edit: Granddaughter just came down with it.
My son is kicking himself right now. He and grandson (both higher risk) did not wear a mask because of the way people called them names over doing so. So today, I remind everyone, SOME OF US HAVE A REASON FOR WEARING ONE. Please, tell friends to stop shaming us for doing so!
