We returned after 4 months, but they could only offer 1 day per week due to all the Covid restrictions and said that would be the case for several months (a year, as it turned out).

So, I found another job and did a gradual transition to the new one, where I now do 4 days. The new job is WAY better than the old one in every possible way, so I really landed on my feet! Thanks for asking :)
