during the course of the exorcism they were saying that it got worse every time they tried something and took that to mean they failed. i find that odd since if it got worse that should indicate the exorcism is working. and in the end it did. i don't know why they were discouraged at all when they should have been encouraged the whole time.
Ghostkind, I think the producers used it for dramatic effect. A priest that assisted in an exorcism said that it is a maddingly long tedious process.
It can go on for months. And he described it is like trying to coax a badger out from under your front porch. And yes it gets worse before it gets better. He also said something that the video said and that's 999 out of a thousand people can be put down to a legitimate psychiatric diagnosis or a drug or alcohol problem.
I likedthe video ,but stuff like that I could do without for a long long time..
