Years ago I was a bouncer in a bar in Maryland. It was rumored to be haunted and every staff member had a story to tell. I admit at the end of the night when we were closed it had a odd feeling. I'd been there for awhile and never saw anything and would brush off other staff members stories. Then on a Tuesday night there were 2 bartenders,1 waitress, 1 Cook and myself. Then 2 staff members sitting at the bar and 2 regulars. Behind them there was a table of 4 having drinks and dinner. It was super slow. I was standing in a doorway between the bar and the waitress/kitchen area just chatting with everyone. Then a wine glass came off the rack hovered in the air and smashed to the floor! Everyone but the table of 4 saw it. Now these racks are tilted toward the wall at an angle because when we had live band the vibration would cause them to fall. Also it it would have just fell it would have landed where the liquor bottles and coolers were. If I hadn't had a front row seat I'd said bs,but I saw it and to this day it's still amazing to me.

I've seen similar things happen...hovering. I believe ya, K-9. I have often wondered what it is about bars that draws this kind of activity...outside of the obvious alcohol that gets blamed. But I think it's more than that. Did this place have a history of activity that could be confirmed?

It was an old building and at one point there was a fire. I never really looked into it too much. I just accepted it and the fact odd things happen there.

Well, if spirits liked to frequent bars when alive it would make sense that the ones that hang around would hang out in them. I think there is a certain low vibe about bars, and like attracts like. Now I am not saying they are a bad place to be, and I occasionally go myself, I am just saying alcohol, addiction and some low vibe people may attract the same in a haunting. Seeing something like that really changes how we view the world for sure.
