it is a shame it will only last 5 to 10 years before it runs out of fuel .

It may last up to 20 years, so said the NASA folks on Saturday. They have used less fuel than expected to get to where they are positioned.

The JWST - James Web Space Telescope has reached the L2 destination and a burn sequence will take place to put it in the "halo orbit". We are in the 30th day since the rocket containing the telescope was launched from earth.
