Strange sighting

So i was woke up the other night and flipped the light on to see some sort of black mass dissapear into the seam of the ceiling does anyone know anything about what this might be? Id like to think this was a dream but i was wide awake and didnt go back to sleep.

Welcome fellow Idahoan, I've never seen anything quite like that. The interesting part are the tentacles/threads coming out of it a lot of orbs are just round masses this sounds a bit different.

I wouldn't be surprised about a squigly mass, this may have been a ghost forming, i have no reason to doubt Taps who seem a very professional Unit, but was your experience a little like link below:-
