The ancient skeleton with blade for arm made me remember the first two Evil Dead films. Classics. Army of Darkness was eh, but it had it's moments.

Another one is Burnt Offerings. The creepy smiling chauffeur scared the hell out of me as a little kid lol.

I'm overdue for The Original Shining and The Thing. I'm not knocking Pet Sematary by any means, but the Zelda - just freaked me out at the time. Still does.

Lynne, if you haven’t see Ghost Story - from 1981 - I recommend it. It starts out slow because they are setting up the story but it‘s a fright. It includes Fred Astaire and Douglas Fairbanks Jr among others.

Oh crispies Selectric that is one of my favs. Him dragging the coffin up the stairs to scare Bette Davis. That plus, “I’ve been waiting for you Ben.” And, the overall premise of the house itself! Eeeeeeek
