Scientists and their dumb ideas! Wouldn't it make the water radioactive? Exploding nuclear bombs on the very planet we live on is the dumbest idea ever. Honestly who would think this was a good idea! They now have a beautiful RADIOACTIVE lake! I think a pipeline would have been a better consideration.

I remember in the 1960s there was a story about talk around the Pentagon. Somebody's bright idea was to blow up the Moon to scare the heck out of the Soviets.

...until one of the scientists explained to them we need the moon to maintain weather, rotation/tilt, tides, etc. I heard that before there was a moon ( if that was even a thing, though there are ancient writings stating it ), the sun was not as bright due to a constant veil of mist in the air and there were no seasons.
