An intriguing dashcam video from a driver in South Korea shows a trio of lights mysteriously appear in the night sky before vanishing into thin air. The curious footage was reportedly recorded last Tuesday evening as the witness was driving home from work near the city of Daejeon. Much to the motorist's amazement, his otherwise routine commute took a weird turn when he noticed something anomalous flying object off in the distance.

The oddity initially appeared as a singular ball of light, but was soon joined by a second and then a third orb hovering alongside it. As quickly as the anomalies appeared in the sky, they disappeared, leaving behind no trace of their presence. When posting the video to YouTube, the witness noted that the UFOs appear to be high in the sky "compared to the star on the right" and mused that "I think something happened in space."

What that 'something' may have been is, of course, anyone's guess. Some theories put forward by observers online include SpaceX Starlink Starlink satellites, drones, and, as is to be expected, some kind of alien craft. Given that the video was captured near a fairly large city, skeptics will likely posit that the lights were from an airliner and they merely looked anomalous due to the perspective of the dashcam on the ground.

They look like reflections to me. I will point out, however, Daejeon is the home on the RoK's Agency for Defense Development. I've been there, it's roughly equivalent in mission to DARPA, although from what I saw not quite as cosmic or well funded.
