During my whole life, I always followed my gut feeling and impulses, perhaps that is why I am more opened to that than an average man. Sometimes the choice would not be good (at least at first glance), but I always trusted my gut feeling no matter what.

Thank you all for insightful answers, I enjoyed each and one of them. Please add whatever you have in. I am enjoying discussing this with people that are knowledgeable about the subject.

I believe that intuition is something that can be practiced and even grown. However, I don’t necessarily think it’s the intuitive message receipt mechanism that you improve - I think it is the message recognition that grows instead.

As you alluded to, you have listened to your intuition. I think that listening is the part that is easiest to grow. Simply stopping to recognize how or what you feel is enough. On the occasion when you feel that you have to act contrary to your intuition, you should first stop, be still, and make note of what your intuition seems to say/sense. Then act in any way you must BUT regardless keep your eye on what you felt before acting.

For me, it has been like practicing just about any skill, it is cumulative. The more often I correctly interpreted my intuitive feelings, the easier it became to do it again AND the more frequently my intuitive feelings were actually right.

I think it is simply a practice of reversing our previous socialized behavior of not listening to our intuition.
