Something Enormous Just Slammed Into Jupiter

I watched as the fragments of comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 smashed into Jupiter in July of 1994, with my 10-inch Newtonian telescope from my backyard. It was absolutely stunning to watch it happen in real-time. I have a VHS video of it somewhere, need to find it and transfer it to digital media before it's lost.
It has happened again a couple of times but never at the scale of the 1994 event.
