So! You want to lucid dream?

Wow this was a long article. Very interesting that we could use a mask to link into lucid dreaming; like plugging into the matrix. I got as far as the researcher drilling a hole into his own head after studying YouTube videos on the procedure. He had to be hospitalized for blood loss. He practiced on sheep heads! I sure hope it was not on live sheep! You can't help crazy. Anyway, I will go with the traditional method of trying on my own.

One thing I want to address. Many people think Lucid Dreaming is the same as astral travel (leaving your body). It is not. It is two different things. Lucid dreaming means you are aware inside of your dream that you are dreaming and can control where your dream goes. Astral Travel is actually spirit leaving the body and traveling to other realms or parts of the universe.

Somewhere along the line the two things have overlapped when people refer to lucid dreaming.

Good point Debi. I always wonder if when this has happened to me if I was out of body or lucid dreaming. I think it could be hard to tell.

One way I have read of, to tell if it is astral travel or lucid dreaming, is this. If during the dream you can control your surroundings, such as decide to materialize a car and fly it in the sky, you are lucid dreaming. If you can't control your surroundings, you are astral traveling.

I miss astral traveling! But I had to curtail it because a few times I had nasty experiences, and once or twice I almost didn't make it back.
