A good theory and I agree the last guy was probably a nut. I think that Bigfoot is a real creature that may travel through dimensional vortexes. People don’t report them as giving off evil energy, they tend to react to their situation like any animal. A Lion may kill but we don’t consider it evil. Dogman however is always reported as having an evil feel. People are usually filled with dread and fear. There is an innate knowing that if they engage the being that they will be attacked. I think there are different entities and creatures out in the world. I don’t think they can all be lumped into a unified theory. I believe your theory may well fit some out there. Just my take on it. Of course I may be totally wrong. It’s such a big mystery.Interesting stories. Not sure about that last one, it seemed a little inconsistent in writing style. Like saying they have multiple genders but the using words like 'she' and 'him'.
Although it does kind of fit with an interesting theory I heard about skinwalkers and other unexplained creatures, sort of a unified theory of all things cryptid, that basically says they are all the same kind of ancient non-human entity. In short, these entities have been around since before humans and are able to take over the bodies of animals. However, the physical form is not able to properly contain them so their essence stretches and shapes the animal body.
So, under this theory you would start with an incorporeal being, such as the Glimmer Man. Having seen one myself I could easily recognize how, centuries ago something like it would be described as an anthropomorphic heat mirages or wisp of smoke; which is how things such as Djinn or Elementals are described. This being then takes a corporeal form from the actual body of an animal and transforming into a large, bipedal, vaguely human form. So if it took a bird, jackal and alligator it might resemble beings the Ancient Egyptians called Horus, Anubis and Sobek respectively. Other animals might result in other similar gods and cryptids such as Quetzalcoatl (snake), Dragons (lizards), Mishipeshu (cat/lion), Black Dogs/Werewolves, Mothman, The Jersey Devil and even Sasquatch.
Like people, these beings have their own personalities. Some are benevolent, others not so much. Which maybe what people call Angels or Demons, or who the ancient Hebrew people called Elohim. Malevolent entities are often described as having a stench, likewise many cryptids are described as having a stench or being found in and around areas that have such offensive odor like trash dumpsters or swampland. The more malevolent ones might try to take human bodies and create something like a Wendigo or maybe Spring Heeled Jack.
If these beings are able to maintain their incorporeal abilities while in animal/human form it would also explain why cryptids sometime vanish (cloaking ability) or move from one area to another so quickly (teleportation).
I'm not sure I fully believe in this theory but it does make a bit of sense in many ways. Especially when reading stories like these where these alleged skinwalkers maintain certain animal features even in a more human form or, like the old woman in the green dress, are seemingly in two places at once.
It is an interesting theory, although I'm not sure it's totally correct either. At this point I can't 100% rule it out without actual evidence to prove or disprove the idea. I too lean towards the idea that Bigfoot is an actual creature.A good theory and I agree the last guy was probably a nut.
