This is such a hideous disease. If they can nail down this as the cause they may be able to treat or stop it.

It totally strips a person of any dignity or ability to take care of themselves. We treat our dogs better and would never make them live like that. I knew an old man that spent most of his time looking for and worrying about his wife. She had died 5 years before... It was kinder to just let him look than trying to tell him that she was gone.
