Oz, if it's crawling out of my lunch pail, it's not an edible item!

My grandpa raised snails for food (he killled snails tfirst with salt & boiled them ) but never sent any to school with me

Oz, I guess Marmite is very similar? I have a jar of Marmite which I occasionally eat a tiny bit of. It's very salty!

It is, but most people in Australia hate Marmite,love Vegemite,sort of like a Coke and Pepsi thing.The secret(don't tell anyone, lol) is to only use a small scaping on your toast.

LOL,I meant to say scraping.Good idea,once you have a taste your hooked,it's like the heroin of the spread world.

I neither hate nor love Marmite, but it is good for the salt cravings!
