A motorist in South Carolina captured some intriguing footage of a weird glowing object slowly descending in the sky. Based on a radio ad that was playing as witness Kymberleigh Jordan filmed the strange scene, the sighting apparently took place in early May, but was only posted to YouTube a few weeks ago. In her description of the footage, she explains that she spotted the odd object "on a drive in South Carolina" and marveled that "I have never seen anything like it before and would really like to know if anyone else knows what this is."

In Jordan's footage, a rather sizeable white anomaly can be seen almost hovering in the sky. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the object is descending at an incredibly slow speed. At around 40 seconds into the video, a plane also appears in the sky and the aircraft looks as if it is headed right for the UFO. When the two objects eventually cross paths, there is no dramatic collision, which suggests that they are actually a fair distance away from each other.

As for what Jordan may have filmed, some imaginative observers have posited that it was some kind of alien craft and that the airliner was a "spotter plane" tasked with watching the ET intruder. More skeptical viewers have argued that the 'UFO' could have been space debris falling back down to Earth or perhaps it was just another airplane that only appeared to be anomalous due to Jordan's perspective on the ground and the reflection of the sun. What do you think was filmed in the sky over South Carolina?

She videoed two aircraft leaving contrails, they are made to look brighter by the light from the setting sun reflecting off them. They are at different altitudes, and were separated by a significant distance when the contrails looked to have crossed. The angle from which the viewer/camera saw the aircraft created the illusion they were close.

Nice debunk Duke. I would have thought it a meteor.
