Rock apes of Vietnam

i must of missed last nights chat
ive actually herd of this from my dad
my dad was in the Vietnam war in the 70s
he was on night base patrol when he said he seen
something like a bigfoot rummaging through the trash cans thats what caught his attention in the first place
he said it was taller then him.
i just though he seen a gorilla but after seeing this is possible he seen something else
