"My brother need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life; to be remembered simply as a good and decent man, who saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it, saw war and tried to stop it." RIP.

50 years have passed, and we probably have yet to hear the truth about his assassination. There is no tape of the moment he was shot, but audio was being recorded. It seems to play back more gun shots than the assassin, Sirhan Sirhan actually got off. Plus investigators found additional bullet holes in the room that were officially never recorded for evidence because they didn't fit the narrative. The wound that ultimately killed Bobby came from a shot that was closer than Sirhan ever actually got, a fact that was never adequately explained. In addition, a young photographer in the kitchen where the murder took place claimed to have caught the killing with his camera. His film was taken forcefully from him. A lawsuit followed and it took many years for the photographer to win the rights to his film back. Conveniently, the government agent tasked with delivering the film had it "stolen" as he stopped at a gas station along the way.

There is a side theory that Jackie Kennedy realized after her husband and brother in law's assassinations that her children may need protection from being killed themselves. She married Aristotle Onassis soon after in order to use his wealth and mob connections to protect her children.
