Residents Flee California Wildfires (updates)

UPDATE: There are now FOUR fires burning in Southern California, with three of them in Los Angeles County, and a fourth in Riverside County, CA - near Coachella.
Palisades Fire: 3,000 acres, zero containment.
Eaton Fire: Over 2,200 acres, zero containment.
Hurst Fire: 500 acres, zero containment.
(NEW) Tyler Fire: 15 acres, zero containment.

The fires are spreading fast. The hydrants are dry. The National Guard has been called in. They are using the Rose Bowl now as a command center, and have moved out the horses and large animals that it was sheltering. People with horses or cattle are being told to head for AZ or Nevada.

This is what’s left of the Pacific Palisades. The mall survived. Most everything else is gone. Homes, apartment complexes, businesses.
