ROFL! I've told this story before and honest, my son and I just talked about this very thing this morning. My mom loved her house to look "pretty", so she bought high end plastic plants for her yard...LOTS of them. Her house looked quite lovely from the road but the poor bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds were totally confused!

When i moved into my house i cleaned up the front and planted plants and shrubs. My neighbor in turn planted plastic plants lol.

It's time to remove all of that years later. I honestly thought none of it would grow but, most did. Next go at it will be far smaller things in front.

My mom used to get lots of praise for her beautiful yard from people who had no clue they were plastic or silks. And she never offered the truth about it...lol
