no matter how many mp you have in your camera, there is that a-d conversion done, which eliminates your ability to get the true natural quality

I don't care much about MPs. My Fujis just have 16mp, but with a little a little software manipulation I can giant pictures, that are still quite sharp.

i think the MP rating is kinda logarithmic feeling (maybe it actually is),, the higher you are, the less you notice

I will buy the new 24mp Fujis when they come out next year. At least one. I'm not quite sure why. I guess just trying to keep up with the technology.
