Oh - I think denser materials like rock, crystal and metal are great, but realize that matter = energy = spirit. Asian cultures ascribe ALL matter as being Spirit and thus they think of all objects and matter in those terms, something we Westerners might stop to remember - I think they are onto something with that view and my gut tells me that psychometry is us connecting our spirit to the "spirit" of the object and reading it's life history and memories as a result because we are one and the same in many respects... Just my 2-cent theory of course.
