Thanks! I am religious and our priest has offered to help, i didn't feel the need til this picture moved on saturday but it has got me that!

If you have a good relationship with your Priest, I would take him up on the offer. Let him come and bless your place. If you have children in the home especially, you don't want them to be frightened or harmed. Whatever is moving these things has some force behind it and could cause harm. Using the St. Michales prayer is good advice. I would go to the link Duke gave you and read through that.

Is there anything that you can think of that could have triggered this? Did you just move into this location? Have you brought any new furniture or objects into your life that might have a connection?

Hi Natimo,
Here is my Mom's strange jewelry story. She has a ring that belonged to my Godmother. Really pretty and sentimental. And it just up and disappeared for a few weeks.
This mystery was a real head scratcher. Did she wear it out to a party and lose it ? She has a habit of taking off her jewelry when she comes back home, by the kitchen sink. Did it go down the drain ? Or maybe she lost it in the restaurant and called them.

My Mom and my Brother and I looked for that ring everywhere including the jewelry box. Three people went through that jewelry box four times. Everything turned over on the bed. Had a real good close-up picture of the ring so we could pick it out . She was sad about that for sentimental reasons.

Then about 3 weeks later she is getting dressed to go out and opens up the jewelry box. The ring was sitting right up top. No way we missed it.

Natimo, you are not alone. Mom has had some psychic episodes and I always wondered if that was related to what she did for a living. She taught nursing and worked hospice.

Here's another one of Mom's stories and I'll make it quick. We live near Chicago and the earliest settlers were French fur trappers. She lived in a small neighborhood out in the country. It was also near where the Potawatomi American Indians set up camp on some high ground. The area has lots of really weird psychic stories.

Mom saw French fur trappers and a French soldier walk through the back yard one night. Wearing clothes from the early 1700's. It was not Halloween and not reenactors.

Cool stories, Paint! I have had things go missing, never to return. Years ago, when I had adopted a second cat, weird things happened. I bought him a new cat toy, and it completely vanished. He had been playing with it in the kitchen, and we looked everywhere. The kitchen had little cupboards underneath two of the window sills and they had not been opened. I checked in there, and everywhere else. The toy just up and vanished. I think something did not like the new cat.

I recently lost a vase that had held the wedding flowers my BIL sent on our wedding day. It just vanished.

Welcome to the PNF Natimo, i am sorry you are having these issues. The link Duke provided is a good place to reference paranormal issues once all possibilities are exhausted. Did you recently move into the house or have you lived there for awhile, to rule out the possibility someone has a key and is messing with your stuff? If that is not the case, there are members on the forum that had personal items vanish and may have suggestions for you. Another question would be are you near a train or subway (tube) to rule out vibration moving stuff around? Not discounting anything paranormal, just scratching off what comes to mind first.

I was thinking the same thing Selectric, about someone messing around/gaslighting. Unfortunately, I know a friend that this happened to. An ex had a key(unknown by the home owner) and they were moving and taking stuff, making this person crazy thinking she was being haunted. After installing cameras, that I and others suggested, the person was caught on camera and dealt with.
Natimo, if you can, some type of camera set up would rule out a lot of unknowns

An ex had a key(unknown by the home owner) and they were moving and taking stuff, making this person crazy thinking she was being haunted. Arlo cameras are cheap and easy to setup. You can use your phone to view things when you're not around and get alerts to motion.

Well this story is not as serious as this one we are discussing, this one is a little more light-hearted.

There was a regular here named T-Bob. He still pops in from time to time. He was on the road working for a gas pipeline company in West Virginia. He would be gone for months and when you do work like that you do all your laundry at once. Usually at the laundromat.

He had 12 pair of socks in the dryer - all the same. Half of his socks disappeared. Gone. Nobody swiped them.

Actually, if memory serves me, ALL his socks went missing. Poof, just gone. I believe he had washed them in his own machine and said something about taking it apart and looking there as well. I still stand by ET needed them for sock puppets to entertain the kids on their ships, but I think he was sure that Bigfoot took them. (This has become an ongoing PNF mystery that we never let T-Bob forget!)

On a serious note, I once again shall bring up that things can and do get apported. Snatched from one dimension into ??? Sometimes things come back from wherever they go, but many times do not. There is often a "popping" sound that occurs when this happens.

Hi, Natimo! I'm glad you found us and I hope we can help. I can personally vouch for the St. Michael's prayer! It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, it is surprisingly effective. Try reciting it each morning before rising and again before bed. Speak out loud for this, and also feel free to speak to whatever or whomever is causing problems. You are perfectly entitled to ask it to leave, as you did not ask it over.

Late to read but I recommend setting up a security camera just in case. Humans are much more frightening than ghosts.

If you rent, I’d be asking hard questions about who has a key to your place as well. (Maintenance men, for example.)
