Hi all, is this anything to be worried about?!
i live alone and have had six notable incidents of things moving independently, but I've noticed a definite increase of the force used and the objects that move now, and I have never felt any concern until this last occurance.
1. Found a grey bath towel in the middle of my kitchen floor when i got in from work.
2. Found all the drawers under my bed open when I never use them.
3. Had one night where loud banging at the front but no one there and when i didn't get out of bed anymore the wardrobe door closest to my pillow opened and banged shut right down my ear
4. I checked the iron was off/ it was cold to the touch and switched off at the wall. Next morning making coffee I hear that 'click' and the switch is flipped and iron is red hot.
5. For the first time in four years my loft hatch was wide open (it can't just fall open): to open this hatch you have to use a long pole, twist the mechanism and physically push the door upwards so that it unhooks and can drop.
6. This last one has got me a bit... I've got a large (40 inch x 30 inch) photo of my daughter printed on 5mm think acrylic board, with a heavy frame as well. When I went to bed it was on the wall as normal. When i got up the next day it was now sitting right in the middle of the main window in the lounge, on the sill, the right way up, and leaning on the glass.

My brain couldn't, and still can't, process how something so weighty was physically moved across the room. Any advice??

Hi Natimo:

Welcome to the PNF. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I know many of our members will have questions and advice. In the mean time, let me refer you to our suggestions in dealing with the paranormal. I personally recommend the St Michael prayer.

Hi, Natimo! I'm glad you found us and I hope we can help. I can personally vouch for the St. Michael's prayer! It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, it is surprisingly effective. Try reciting it each morning before rising and again before bed. Speak out loud for this, and also feel free to speak to whatever or whomever is causing problems. You are perfectly entitled to ask it to leave, as you did not ask it over.

Hopefully other members will weigh in and I wish you well.

Thanks! I am religious and our priest has offered to help, i didn't feel the need til this picture moved on saturday but it has got me that!

Hi, Natimo, welcome to PNF. Regretful that you are going through this. It is very un-nerving.
Have you experienced anything else other than the moved objects and the opening of the loft door and iron?
As the others said above, plenty of info here and the St. Michaels prayer does work, I personally have used it many times.
Welcome :)

Yeah it seems like it's amping up a bit but at first it was just stuff going missing forever. I had beautiful watch and it's vanished, turned this places upside down and looked for over six months.
Admitted defeat and bought a new one, and a week later it was also gone, never to be seen again. There's only so many places in this little house, and unless im taking them off outside and flinging them over a rainbow i have no clue.

Also, you'll see in the pic, on the right are my 26 paired sets of earrings, and on the left are the EIGHTEEN single earrings I have left, all confused and missing their twins. ;ss

Don't tell me i can misplace 18 different one earrings.... that's just statistically improbable..
Yeah, never found, so obviously something mischevious likes to take stuff maybe. When i was watch searching i was pulling furniture out and looking in the fridge kind of thorough, so. They're not in the house anymore wherever they are.

Welcome to the PNF Natimo, i am sorry you are having these issues. The link Duke provided is a good place to reference paranormal issues once all possibilities are exhausted. Did you recently move into the house or have you lived there for awhile, to rule out the possibility someone has a key and is messing with your stuff? If that is not the case, there are members on the forum that had personal items vanish and may have suggestions for you. Another question would be are you near a train or subway (tube) to rule out vibration moving stuff around? Not discounting anything paranormal, just scratching off what comes to mind first.

Welcome to the forum!

Any major changes in your life? Remodeling the home? Higher stress or emotional level? Anything that might have helped amp this energy in your home up?
Does anyone else live in the house and have they experienced anything?
