Phone Habits

I have a landline, and almost always use it. I love the solid feel of the receiver in my hand, and the satisfying click when I hang up. It has an old fashioned ringer and the buttons are arranged in a circle, to mimic a dial. It is a refurbished phone and has a very heavy base. I LOVE this phone, and will weep if it ever stops working.

I talk to my friends on it, and if they call my smart phone they will get a recording saying to call my landline. So maybe two or three calls a month. I would rather get a phone call than a text, mostly because I hardly ever check my smartphone.Having said that, the smartphone does come in handy for some things, but I much prefer my landline.

I am well on the way to being a crabby old lady who hates talking on the phone, lol.

You have a computer so at least you are in touch with the world and have access to this forum. Honestly it’s the Internet access that has caused my cell phone addiction. I love texting but I could easily live without it.
