Being a goose enthusiast I saw this and wondered if my Rudy ( goose) will be on the otherside with me when I expire. I certainly hope so, but it was also comforting to read the stories. No audio, just reading. I liked the experiences because the peeps that came back said they could understand their little friends. i hope to see my favorite pet Max and my dog farful. Farful means noodle in german.

Depends on your belief but for me every living creature has a soul and I believe we will meet the souls closest to us when we pass including pets.
I agree with you. The thing that grabbed my attention about that video was the statement that the people who had gone over to the otherside could understand what their pets were saying ! The other statement was that the dogs were in groups and the cats were alone waiting for the person. That is so cat like. My favorite animal when I was young was my dog. When I was in my early forties my spouse brought in a stray that came to our house out of nowhere( I dont really believe it was coincidence). That little guy named Max stayed with me for 14 beautiful happy years. He was an awesome hunter and I marveled at his skills when he was available for me to watch. As he got older and I became a better pet enthusiast I had my yard cat fenced so he could not get out anymore. It was becoming very dangerous with much more traffic and coyotes everywhere. I miss him to this day and hehas been gone for 7 years. I had him put down and held him. I really loved that little man. I cried in private for days . I was always taught to not show emotion and to this day I dont but I know when to let off steam.I know some will understand but others wont. I didnt always respect animals and plants like I do now. I guess I grew . Especially when I met native elders and learned about their affinity with animals and the whole natural world thing.
youtube is full of pets in the afterlife videos. Even some on how to do it yourself. This is an overview IMO. I hope it brings you hope and comfort. BTW after Max passed I was so distraught that I went to a pet communicator that I knew personally and was recommended to me. She knew nothing about max , Nothing. She described him. She also described my first dog noodle who she said is still rolling around . That dog rolled in anything stinky and I spent many a day giving her a bath. The communicator said Max said something to her that she had never ever heard while doing this. She said he asked her why I am taking so long getting to his side and to hurry up. We both laughed as max was definitely a no nonsense type cat. I took a course from the pet communicator after seeing her . I can do it but am not very good at it and I am not sure of myself. In other words I am not worth 20 bucks to talk to.

Here is one that is short and covers a lot IMO , A medium gives some explanation of after life pet items and how they let us know they are around.

I certainly believe our animals live on on the other side. I too have used an animal communicator on several occasions. She was very accurate. To think otherwise is too depressing.

I do believe you may see a pet or two in the afterlife.

A friend had a dog die. She later dreamed about her dog. It was in a waiting room with a police officer. The police officer told her that he was watching the dog for her until she arrived. Strange dream to be having.

I've seen deceased animal loved ones in spiritual form.
Now I'm not a believer in Heaven or Hell for that matter (or a singular God) but I do believe there is an ultimate source that we are all connected to and return to after our time here is over.

I feel that the afterlife is whatever we deem it to be.

Walking Goose, great thread ! Like the way you put things.
My mom visits psychics, and her side of the family seems to be able to communicate very easily across the Veil.
She would often brief me about what was said, and inevitably news of long past pets would come up -and get this -who was taking care of who.
The latest psychic said something to Mom as he was escorting her out of the house. The cat your son (me) found was injured...like this....(details are not necessary here because it's horrible, but his description fit exactly. ) Mystery solved.
Patch lost an eye in the ordeal, but is living the life of Riley today.

thank you Paintman!. When I put my cat down ( I have had many in my lifetime as we foster kittens for a local shelter) I was so broken up . I went to an animal communicator, the same one that said Max wanted to know why I was taking so long getting to the other side to be with him. She also told me something I just remembered. She said that Max and I had been together in a life in France in the 1700s. That would explain the fact that he never left my side and came out of nowhere, liked no one else really but me. She seemed to think animals reincarnate and I believe her. I also had a cat named waffles that I rescued and we spent lots of money on that poor little predator. Well he want little exactly because he weighed about 20 plus pounds and was Maxs enemy. Waffs. kicked poor old Max around so much I had to get Waffles a home elsewhere as he jumped the fence, fought day and night, and was a real male cat stereotype. I loved Waffs alot and was very sad about having to get him a home elsewhere but he did . The family that adopted him had a younger son who really wanted a pet. They were great people and got their back yard cat fenced too for waffls to have a place to hunt safely without getting hit by a car or hurt by the coyotes and cat haters that exist. Waffs passed away a year ago I learned of old age . About a month ago we accepted to foster a mom and some beautiful little kittens that were still being nursed. One looked exactly like waffs!!! He is huge and runs only to me and sits with me . We cannot keep him as We are getting old and it wouldnt be fair to him to be adopted by us. He will find a great home as the local shelter is number one in my opinion and really cares about teir pets and care. I wonder if the new kitten is waffs reincarnated. I called him waffles also and that the name we gave him. i cannot keep every cat but I would and dogs too. I have always loved animals and they me. They ahve a perfect soul IMO and according to the elders I knew are especially loved by the creator as they are pure.
