Paranormal Experiences While In The Bathroom

I brought this up yesterday so figured i'd start this thread. We've all had experiences, but have you had any while doing your business, getting showered/bathed or just brushing your teeth? Bathroom time usually means privacy to do what we have to do and quite frankly, be most vulnerable. An uninvited 'guest' can make this alone time rather unnerving and downright scary.

The main experience i had was many years ago while at a friend's house. Being in the trades, i have talked to many plumbers about this and have gotten quite a few strange looks over it lol. I always used the second floor bathroom while there and this late night, was no different. I sat down to use the toilet and grabbed one of the various Reader's Digest behind me. While quite groggy, i heard the sink water start running across the room. For what seemed like minutes, i watched in puzzlement as the water flowed into the sink bowl. Then as i tried to hurry and finish, it shut off. I sat there for probably another few minutes trying to reason to myself as to what just happened. When i got to the basement where my buddy was i asked him if he had any plumbing issues lol. First of many strange looks. I have asked plumbers if that could be possible at all without turning the faucet manually. Every single answer was no. There obviously was no other person in that bathroom with me, so curious who turned on the water? Heard many accounts of water being turned on in haunted locations. This was my experience to witnessing this first hand.

Another experience i had was not long after trying to aid someone with a paranormal issue. I am no professional, so i probably should have taken more care doing this. I know better now. I 'saw' what appeared to be a shadow figure when trying to focus on this issue. Quite an angry thing it was and turned out, that was not the only time i would 'see' it. Like every morning, i jumped in the shower to get ready for work. While enjoying my nice hot shower, i suddenly got a picture in my mind of this shadow guy. Despite how hot the shower was, i could feel every hair on my body standing up. I told this thing to leave and that it had no business being here. I'm thinking i must've gotten it's attention and decided to pay me a visit. Don't think so man. I have not 'seen' it since, so that's a plus. Boundaries and protection surely must be set and like i said, i know better now.

This is not one i experienced, but from a girl that used to babysit us years back. She was the daughter of one of my mom's friends that lived not far from us. She would always tell us their house was haunted, like finding doors open that were supposed to be locked. One day while coming out of the bathroom, she opened the door to see someone standing in their hallway. Being alone in the house, obviously she freaked out and locked herself back in the bathroom. I don't know how true the accounts were, but the look in her eyes while telling about them sure hit it home. Eventually they moved and i have lost contact with that family since.

I dont know if you would consider this paranormal but, this had never happened before or since. Back in the mid to late 2000's. I girl I knew was really good at tarot and was pretty psychic. I had a crush on what we called "the grape leaf girl", a girl I would see at at a Greek / Lebanese place called the Grape leaf. We would duck off at work and do small quick readings.
Long story short......One of the girls Spirit guides would come in, while I was bathing at night and laugh and giggle. I guess she thought she was being "naughty". Lol. After a few days of being mischievous, my main Guide Sarah, put an end to her uninvited bathroom visits.....Lol

I mentioned this one before, but since it involved my dad, will mention again. My brother, sister and i slept walked when we were very young. The usual stuff...head to bathroom and pee in tub lol. Our downstairs was always a bit creepy for some reason. Especially the mech room where the crawl space entrance was. The powder room was right past it. Somehow i slept walked all the way down two flights of stairs and when i woke up, i was standing at the closed door of the powder room. Not paranormal, but still very odd and creepy i ended up there. When i woke, i looked around wondering where i was and when i opened the door, my father just came home and he was just about to open the door lol. Yeah, freaked him out and me for sure lol.

I can't say that I've had an experience in the bathroom, but I have heard a lot from others. My own daughter used to be afraid to look in the bathroom mirror because she said she would see things. She once described a little boy about 4 or 5 wearing an old-fashioned short suit. She described him fairly well, blond hair and buckled shoes. The odd thing was that our mirror is a small one above a sink. No way a reflection could show a full body, so it had to be a projected image somehow. She didn't like to soak alone in the tub either because she said they would approach her in there. She reported seeing a little girl about 8 in a dress with poofy sleeves. She described the outfit to be like the one from the Mario Bros game. My husband confirmed that he had seen this same apparition in the same outfit. He also witnessed a teenage looking girl running into our barn. He said she looked solid until she went through the service door instead of opening it. Makes me wonder if there is a family attached to this land. I have had things get moved around in my barn a lot when Lindsey was young, and we had the farm animals. I don't know if they were attracted to her, the animals or both. I never felt fear and there were often favors done for me. One time four bales of hay were brought down from the top of the pile and were placed perfectly even in front of the fenced off hay area. I thanked my husband, but he said he didn't do it. Nobody goes back to the barn but us and the pasture is fenced off. Who would bother doing that anyway. It was made obvious it didn't fall because the bales were so perfectly set and spaced. Little things like that went on for years. Since the farm animals are pretty much gone now and my daughter has been on her own for years there hasn't been any activity that i have noticed. Oh, one more thing I almost forgot. Over the years every now and then the barn lights will be on. At first, I thought it was me being forgetful but after a while I came know it wasn't me. I was always conscious of the lights for that reason.

I can't remember having any paranormal experiences while in the bathroom, but I do experience the telephone ringing as soon as I go in there!

Only thing I've had happen in a bathroom was years ago when I lived at home. I was shaving and my brother walked up behind me and we were having a conversation as I shaved in the mirror. I asked him something and he had gone. I thought what a rude ---- and walked into the house, past his room. He was still in bed, barely awake and said he hadn't got up and was talking to me at his door. We confirmed the conversation and believe this was telepathy of some kind but it had a creepy feeling to it.
