Over Glasgow

Ah my home town! Looks like the foggy conditions could be playing a part here. :)

Very strange how the central "light" just flicks on after a short period of the outer "lights" showing on the video linked in the article.

Do we think that, as Macc_HC as correctly stated, due to the foggy conditions this could just be light refraction from something very bright on the ground?

Unfortunately, the clip ends quite abruptly and you do not see what actually happens to these "lights" - do they fade, stay for hours or just "turn off"? One thing that is clear from the footage, is that there is not one bit of movement, nor any change in illuminance, to suggest this may be something "alien".

Any ideas where in Glasgow (roughly) these were seen, Macc_HC? Obviously to the West of the City you have Glasgow Airport, a lot of large commercial properties and the footy grounds around Parkhead, not to mention the SEC close to the Finnieston area (I use to work in Glasgow quite a bit a few years back). It would be interesting to know if there were any exhibitions or similar going on at the SEC at the time this was captured........
