    The crowd-sourced Khan Project uses nonintrusive satellite photos to survery likely areas for the ground teams to search for Genghis Khan's tomb. Set a marker on the likely spot. These markers are collated and reviewed before the most likely ones are exploited by diggers.

    The Smithsonian's Archive Project allows individuals to login and check and correct transcriptions to place more of their materials into the public's reach and review.
