Odd Creature?

Hello,
Some background about me:
So I've decided to get myself back into posting about my paranormal experiences online. I've had various experiences from a really young age, I think the youngest was about 3-4 years old up until I was around 18 years old and whilst I still experience things now and again its not nearly as frequent or as intense as it was in my youth, although I believe to an extent that this is because I have blocked myself off if that makes sense?
Whilst I know the things I experienced, I truly did experience, I am also very skeptical and I studied Psychology for a few years (ofc that by no means makes me a specialist in anything) so this made me question how much I may have hallucinated or maybe even had some period of psychosis or something (my entire childhood lol), who knows haha. On the flip side, I think there is a fear that talking about what happened in the past could possibly open me up to more experiences and not nice ones. However, its still something I am interested in and I would love to hear if other people had similar experiences to me, specifically in the story I am about to tell you...

So this one is a little difficult to explain, when I was around 4 I saw what I find incredibly hard to explain. When I was little my mother would turn off my light and leave the hallway light on and my door open, I slept upstairs so I could always see the light through the bannisters and and my bed looked out the door. Its hard to describe what I saw, it was almost like a little 1 foot goblin/dinosaur/demon looking creature. It ran past my door and I remembered it so vividly because it didn't make any sense, we also have no animals so it wasn't like a cat or something like that. When I was around 14 or 15 I had a webcam that I'd take lots of photos with, with my friends and stuff and I would sometimes do snapbursts of photos where I'd have like 20 in a row or something. I would sometimes see that creature in the snapburst photos, moving around behind me and my friends, they would be in one shot and moved in the next shot and then gone. I know it probably sounds like a lie, but when I was younger I never thought anyone would believe me and since only me was seeing these things, I preferred to pretend that a lot of the stuff I was experiencing just wasn't happening because it scared me, lol ignorance is bliss. I would just delete the photos or try to play it off like it was a motion blur but I really dont think it was. Around about 14-15 I saw it one more time, I was going to the front door of my house to grab something, now this wasn't too late at night but it wasn't too early either. I stopped dead in my tracks because I saw this creature again and this time it stopped too, it seemed like it was shocked that I could see it as well as it also stopped suddenly, I'm sorry I can't describe it better just a strange goblin/dragon/demony looking thing. My mother called me and I turned around and when I turned back it was gone. I never saw it again after that.
Anyway I know that sounds pretty wild but has anyone else seen something like this? I've seen shadow figures, black smokes, apparitions and orbs and I know lots of other people have seen that too but I've never heard anyone else describe this thing I saw.

It sounds like it could be an elemental. These little creatures take on many forms, and they often like to follow specific people over time. Most commonly seen in the UK, elementals are an old energy and sometimes linked to the Fae. They are also known to take many forms, so the odd combo of "parts" in your description would be fitting.

Elementals in the US tend to be found in wooded areas, while those in the UK tend to like small lakes and rocky areas. These energy forms are known to be mischivious and often cause a bit of chaos when they are around.

I had wondered, I do live in the UK interestingly enough. my parents home is just next to a big park and stream so maybe that is a possibility? Either way its super odd, but nice to hear a possible explanation.

I recently heard a psysic medium describe these creatures as imps. They are small mischievous devils or sprites. Probably just another name for what Debi described above.

They all kind of fall in that same catagory, but imp describes them well!
