i knew someone from NY back in the day I met him through his brother who was also a member of MUFON here in michigan, the guy had some wild stories about UFO's hovering over the city of NY as thousands of people stood looking including police and fire departments and he went on to say it never made the papers. His name was Frank Santariga very well respected in MUFON if you google him you can find many shows he has appeared on.
