WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU THOUGHT WOULD BE EASY BUT WASN'T WHEN YOU TRIED TO DO IT?
Roller skating! I landed on my rump and it was painful!
Driving and anything to do with mechanics.I'm a plant and animal, nature person, weird for a bloke I suppose.
Nerd alert! Way back in 1981, trying to learn “Assembly” programming language.
I had a knack for learning many programming languages very quickly - in fact that same year, I learned one during a ten day ski vacation - yet the Assembly language kicked my butt.
I think whoever thought of that language was probably dropping acid.
Ice skating. Now, I was GREAT at roller skating. Seriously good at it! Took lessons at a rink and all! Put on ice skates and I couldn't stay upright.
I found a problem skating on ice at a Rink. I could skate well on the natural ice but at the ice Rink I couldn’t stay up. The ice must be super hard.
I tried to break out my own horses. I can hear you all laughing. It did not go well...
Learning to use my left hand for even the most mundane things when my broken right hand was in a cast.
One thing ?
How about fill an Encyclopedia Britannica.
There is a specific weight lifting exercise that I am as weak as an underfed kitten.
Hitting a golf ball straight. I played baseball as a kid. My eye hand coordination is good. If I can hit a moving baseball, I thought that hitting a stationary golf ball would be a snap. I can hit it and hit it solid. I have no idea where it is going.
