Not quite dead and seconds from cremation!

People have been buried alive unwittingly.

Somebody REALLY CHECK ME and make sure I'm REALLY DEAD, PLEASE!
This reminds me of reading how those who died at sea where buried at sea back in the days of sailing ships. The ship's sail maker would wrap the body in sail material, then sew it shut. The last few threads were completed when the sail maker would push the needle though the deceased's nose before tying off to make sure he was really dead.
Considering the needles they used, I'm surprised they didn't wake the dead.
