Despite the growing scientific evidence and the climate changes we are seeing the world over, oil mogul Steve Brown of Orcadia Oil is evidently living on another planet. But it is not just him - there are many others out there who would rather deny what is actually happening, rather than face the prospect of losing their business and ludicrously large incomes.
North Sea oil chief claimed climate emergency is ‘fake’
Whilst we suffer the effects of climate change and global warming, and governments and car manufacturers around the world try to reduce carbon emissions and save what we can before it is too late, Steve Brown is backing a plan to develop a heavy oil field 85 miles east of Aberdeen.
Until attitudes change within the oil sector, amongst other businesses spewing out 'global killer poisons', we do not have a hope in hell of changing things before we reach a tipping point - one that we will not be able to recover from............
