When you sleep, do you use white noise? A fan? TV? Radio?
Or do you prefer the quiet of the night?
Mrs Critter and I both prefer the feel and sound of a fan running.

I used to prefer the sound of a fan. Now I just use earplugs. We live in an urban area, and there is a firehouse nearby, which is likely send out trucks at any time.
When I remove my hearing aids, its like putting on earplugs. Ha !

When i was a kid i always had a fan running so got used to that. As the years went on, it depended on who was alongside of me to determine what type of noise (fan, tv etc). Now i sleep in total silence. I find it relaxing. Once in awhile i will turn tv on till i fall asleep.

I like the silence of being in the country; I would not use ear plugs then, if it would just be the sounds of nature.

Sometimes nature is TOO quiet lol. When i was up in Newfoundland, wow, it was too quiet lol. I could almost hear my hair growing. I had to sleep with radio on during that trip.

Yes, there is a such thing as too quiet. Then I could hear my tinnitus really well, lol.
I like to watch tv until I'm tired, but when I sleep I prefer quiet. My hubby is the opposite so I have to wait till I hear the snoring to turn off the tv lol.
