BBC News - Nicholas Parsons: 'Broadcasting legend' dies at 96 after short illness
'Broadcasting legend' Nicholas Parsons dies
Parsons isn't well known in the US, but will be familiar to our UK members. In addition to his work as an actor over the years, he also has hosted a BBC radio game show called "Just a Minute" since 1967. I discovered the program years ago while in the UK on business, and still listen to it today. Nicholas had a quick wit, and went toe-to-toe with some of the funniest personalities in the UK, including actors, comedians, writers, musicians, and politicians. Rest in peace, Nicholas.
