It is possible that a Glacier carried them over time and would explain why it seems to be not in-tact. Notice the stones that have fallen around it Charleh? This, however, looks like a temple of some sort. Maybe in the last days, The god or Demon will rise up and walk the earth to reek havoc on the world... Maybe it's Ba'al, maybe it's some forgotten fallen angel who was worshiped by some dark cult of harbingers...
