Off the top of my head? Springsteen. I've been listening to his music ever since I was a kid starting with 'Tunnel of Love' when it had been recently released. I don't remember the exact date, but it must have been late '87 or early/mid '88 when I was just six or seven. But I do remember exactly where I was when I heard it for the first time. Hard to believe.

Back in the 60s-70s I saw many of the biggies at The Fillmore and other venues around the SF Bay Area. I was at Altamont too. I could have seen The Beatles but I wanted nothing to do with all the hysterical teenie-boppers so I passed on that.

I saw The Who, Janis Joplin, The Byrds, Steve Miller, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield, The Yardbirds, Cream, Lovin' Spoonful, Chuck Berry, The Stones, The Band, Joan Baez, and many others.

But, I never saw Bob Dylan.
