NASA Delays Moon Landing

Odd that the reason given is we won’t be technically ready by 2025. We already did it with a Commodore 64 and an erector set in 1959. What’s really going on here?

Well, in 1959 we could barely get a 30-lb. satellite into orbit, and only after hundreds of tests blew up on the ground first. Commodore was still 15 years in the future.
I'm sure they are trying to not have to go through those hundreds of launchpad explosions this time. ;)

Getting a living crew to the moon in 1969 took a lot more blood and treasure than the Vanguard satellite, and will this time too.
