There are a lot of unanswered questions in this article. For one if they found his phone and cloths was there any blood on them, were they folded, why would coworkers bring clothes to the sight? The end of the article mentions large tracks. There is no description or pics. This is brushed over like it was not important. Many of us who follow these types of accounts know that it is commonly reported that people encountering these strange events often take off their cloths and neatly fold them (maybe a trance like state), they often go to sleep and have memory loss. These cases often take place near a water source and berry fields. David Pilates would say it checks a lot of boxes for the missing.

Find it strange how the person speaking of the incident says at first the police searched for a few weeks then changes by saying they cut the search off in a few days.
