My strange experience.

Snoop, those of us who have been dealing with the paranormal for years will pretty much all tell you that the more you look into it, the more you can call to you. Especially if you have mental health issues you are working on. As I said earlier, put it in your past as one experience. There is so much more in life to concentrate on and grow with.

There are certain prayers you can use as protection, but dwelling on it is not the way to go. I will post the link here in a minute to how to deal with these things. I would suggest you speak with a therapist to work through the memory itself and let it go if possible.

okay, i will try thank you.

I don't wish for it I don't want to see anything. that unsettling feeling of being watched is bad enough. I am actually wondering how to banish this thought. it cropped up in the process of dealing with mental issues. I thought it was dead and buried for all I knew. It scared the living crap out of me. I definitely don't want to relive that. I was really posting this to see if there was anything I could do to deal with it. to know if there is something to be afraid of, or if there is anything to do to protect myself. I am a complete novice on this.

is it just a triggered memory or is there something more to it. just asking these questions make me uneasy.
I totally agree with Debi. She is a wise mother owl and she will only steer you in the right direction. Experiencing this stuff can impact your life. We've all been through something that led us to this safe zone we call the PNF. Take it one step at a time, Snoop. Focus on the good things in life. Cherish what you hold dear. Something people forget to do is stop, breathe in the air, take in the beauty around us. Life is an amazing journey and focusing on all the good we've seen and done in life just makes any negative potholes we've hit wash away.

Okay since this is the only thing that ever occurred to me that might have been paranormal, I'll leave it be.

thanks for the advice everyone.
Hi Snoop, a large percent of the population have experienced at least one thing paranormal and most brush it aside as it can be taxing to work out. Good you have the courage to talk about it. It might be just a one off or you might be becoming open to these things. Whatever it is don't stress about it, most of these things can never be explained and while we look for reasons they mostly cannot be found. One thing I thought was it may have been yourself as a kid, looking on worried and trying to comfort you, sort of like a helping tulpa created by your stressed state.

Welcome to the forum Snoop. I don't know if you are joining or just stopping by for some help, but I am happy you decided to talk about your sighting. Everyone has a piece to the puzzle of the unknown and by sharing we can try to figure out what is going on together. I am late to the discussion and really don't have anything else to add. My above friends have covered it all. I agree that anxiety and worry can attract the "unseen" beings. Some believe they feed off of energy and when we worry, we put out a lot of negative energy. It may also have been a caring spirit who was concerned about you. It could also have been something as simple as one of the campers Astro traveling in their spirit body while sleeping. Regardless the cause, it is important to just move on with your life if you are no longer bothered by these entities. If it has raised an interest in the paranormal you have landed into a good place to research. Changing your thoughts is a hard thing, because thinking about it causes us to think about it more lol. So, replacing a thought with another pleasant one is the answer in my opinion. Carry a prayer or even sing a song when negative thoughts come into your mind. Eventually the occurrences will lesson and be forgotten.

I haven't seen or even experienced it since I worked at that camp. just thought about it. I will try the positive thoughts.

Those kid entities really are creepy. Years ago my young kids were blaming a ghost of a little boy for things getting broken around the house. I didn't believe them until I was walking down the hall one night and a see through boy of about 8 or 9 pushed me back down the hall into the bathroom with my head smashing into the iron bath. I told the kids the next day and apologized for blaming them. I yelled at the entity at the time, told him to leave and we never saw him again.

I don't know if you read my OP. I think why this cropped up in my thoughts because of the pain I was in in those days. I never really dealt with it, and it didn't go away. I am just dealing with it now ripping open an old wound. I always felt ashamed, unworthy, and unlovable because of it. healing is a process, and I am afraid of doing that because it will hurt. but what I was dealing with back then has created a complete roadblock in my life today.

I am peeling away the things that I am afraid of and I think this was just one of them.

Thanks for your help.

Sometimes I feel it's better to just lock the door on the past and throw away the key. The past is the past, it doesn't exist now and if you live, dwell on it you have no future. We all have a past but now is your time to live and be happy.

Well my life has become rather rudderless at the moment. i was doing a lot of soul searching over the passed few weeks. thinking about what I want and how to get it. dealing with crap from the past helped me understand what is blocking me now.

I read the posts and thought the responses were pretty concise and heartfelt. We all have gone through painful things in life. I know i've done things that i am ashamed of or regret doing and kicked myself for it. We just have to learn from them and keep going. That is life. Beating yourself up about it isn't going to make it any better. What's done is done. Like i said, focus on the good in your life now and that can and will start the healing process to keep going down that road. It's a long road. Might as well be happy traveling on it. As far as a paranormal aspect, be thankful the experiences did not persist. Be grateful you may have been given a glimpse of things beyond us. So unsure of what i may have missed. I am an electrician not a psychologist lol.
