Unfortunately, the production companies take so many liberties, that by the time a show airs, it has been "twisted" to make it more entertaining. Shows won't survive if they can't keep the audiences attention, so they do what they need to do, to make it as entertaining as possible. What truly happened isn't really depicted in the majority of cases. I've done one show, (not at liberty to say which one at this time), and after almost 3 hours in a chair, under lights, looking into a camera, answering questions, and telling the story, it was reduced to a 20 minute segment. The segment when it aired, differed quite a bit, from what actually happened. I've turned down a couple more since then, due to what was depicted the 1st time. I'll just stick to audio broadcasts so that I know what's put out.
